Instructions for care

Door stains and dirt can be wiped away gently using a moist cloth. If the stain does not come off with water, a cleaning agent can be added to the linen. Furniture doors can be cleaned using general household cleaning solutions. Do not use boiling water for cleaning.

Avoid abrasive or organic solutions.

The door can be damaged if in touch with very hot pieces, for example hot kettles or frying pans.

Do not predispose doors to running water, for example when when assembling the product in humid space. (We recommend foiled doors in humid spaces.)

Heat Resistance of Foiled Doors

The door endures the quality demands that SFS standards, EN standards and DIN norms set.

The heat resistance of foiled doors is -40ºC to +80ºC. The momentary heat resistance is over 100ºC.

Furniture doors can be installed in cold spaces, but not where the temperature raises over -40ºC,

it is good to check the outside temperature of the frames of the oven when installing doors. If the temperature rises over the recommended limits, heat protection lists should be used. (EN-standard 60335-2-6: ovens metal surface highest permitted temperature when there is +200ºC. in the oven, is +85ºC for one hour.

Handling

No special requirements are needed for the storage of MDF furniture doors. However, exposure to water is not recommended.

When handling doors, you must always be careful and cautious.

The MDF furniture door should be protected from knocks, especially the sides and corners.

When making holes for the handles or hinges, check that your working table is clean. Debris on the table can easily cause scratches on the surface of the door. Pay special attention when handling high gloss doors.

Thermo laminated high gloss doors have a protective foil that should be removed after installation./p>

Small paint faults caused by bumps or by use are easy to repair with repair paint, which Kensapuu also supplies. When the paint surface is damaged all the way down to MDF board, the door is highly predisposed to moisture. In these cases, we recommend replacement with a new door. Kensapuu Oy takes no responsibility of product reparation done elsewhere than at Kensapuu Oy.

If the foil surface is damaged, it is not possible to mend it anymore. In these cases we recommend purchasing a new door.
